So I promised you beautiful people that I would post more information about my upcoming YouTube channel and I decided to gift y'all with a little more! So my YouTube channel is up and I'm currently working on my first video so look out for a link to my first video in the near future! The first video will just be a simple introduction to the channel and I'll talk about why I chose to start the channel and I'll tell you some of my story and a little technical stuff like how often I'll be posting and, more specifically, what y'all can expect on certain days!

'Tis The Season

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday! I love the family bonding, the music, the movies, the food and of course THE FOOD!! You totally can't see my dog's little christmas bow but come on how cute is she?! I surprisingly got a message (which is strange considering that this blog is still apart of the unknown part of the internet) and a certain individual wanted me to ask y'all some questions! So look out for a new poll every week aaaand answer it! Also, look out for my youtube channel in about a week! I'll be spitting some crazy knowledge about life from my (oh so hilarious) perspective and I will tell you more in a later post!

I love this outfit because its so easy to mix up and accessorize! A plain leather skirt paired with a patterned top can be paired with anything to fit any and all occasions. I kept this outfit casual because its a beautiful Sunday and why the heck not?! I definitely plan on rocking this outfit when I get back to Philly but maybe add some tights and boots to combat that winter chill!

A Hairy Situation

Fact: My hair is relaxed. Fact: I want my curls back! So I drove down to my image infantry (ulta) and I picked up this gem! It's a little on the pricey side at $33 but hey sometimes you gotta pamper yourself! I will absolutely keep you lovely people updated on my hair journey and I'll try to get y'all a picture of my hair as it is now up ASAP.

As we get to know each other you guys will learn pretty quickly that I LOVE Target. While shopping for a friend's gift, I found this beautiful camera on sale for $100 ( steal considering it usually sells for about $230) So get ready for some grade A photography kiddos!

To The Good Stuff

Alright guys this is where IT. GETS. REAL. I am a firm believer that good food and good friends are the only thing a girl needs for a successful night out. Located on the darling Pine Street, Mixto is a darn good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is spectacular. Mixto is the best destination for a fun night out with friends or an intimate date. With a Caribbean and Cuban inspired menu Mixto is worth every penny spent (but don't worry its moderately priced) and for all of my fellow car-less friends its only a few blocks from the Lombard-South stop on the Broad Street Line. 

And if you don't want your night to end at Mixto, take a stroll down South Street and do some exploring you never know what you'll find!

I've always wanted to have a blog but for some reason there's always been something holding me back. Well I woke up this morning and said eff that.... 14 hours later I made my blog. As of right now only one follower is reading this I'm the only one reading this and that's okay! Not even Beyonce started at the top so for now I'm sewing my seeds. This blog is dedicated to plus size fashion, (black) hair, living a healthy lifestyle, navigating through college and of course The City of Brotherly Love.
